I was up walking the day after I had my daughter. You will feel lighter but you'll still be a little sore but they give you meds if you need them while your there and for you to take home. I have 800 MG ibuprofen and 5 mg oxycodone for headaches and cramping cause you'll get cramps when your cervix is moving back up to its original spot and all your insides shift around. I was laying on my stomach as soon as I got discharged. I have my good days and bad days. Rest as much as you can tho now and after birth your gonna need and if able sleep in the hospital. I was able to take a few naps here and there and it helped out in the long run. I had my daughter pushed out in 15 minutes and was in pre term a
labor 3 weeks but was in active labor 5 hours. It went super fast. @heathersteffey
Omg dont tell me this I need relief but my baby is well worth the pain and suffering I Hope you find relief soon @bentley_mommy
It doesn't get any better after birth either. It's been a month since I've had my daughter and I still can't lay on my sides that much. I can lay on my belly however and my pelvis bone and hips still hurt. It takes the full 6-8 weeks to heal. on the plus side tho I only bled for a few days and I got on birth control at my 4 week check up. no more periods for this momma 😂 @heathersteffey
I hope im not pushing forever I want it to be quick but most likely I will the one who is push til my eyes pop
