what I'm doing is I asked my cousin if she could be the godmother and then David (my boyfriend) asked his dads best friend if he could be the god dad. My cousin is in a relationship but if they break up I wouldnt trust him if anything happened to my cousin. My cousin is first choice then Davids dad best friend.

I picked the god mom and let my bf pick the god father. I chose my aunt and he chose a child hood friend.

We chose my best friend as the God mother and my friend of 10 years as the God father... my bf doesn't really have close friends that we trust enough to be a God parent.
