Okay mommies I have a question, I've been throwing up anything I eat for the past 3 days. I went to the hospital Sunday night and they gave me an iv. I've been home since Sunday and am still throwing up, I can't even keep water down I throw it and stomach acid up. I'm on medication for the nussuea and it isn't helping, I'm 12 weeks and a few days although the hospital said I'm 13 weeks. so anywhere between there, any ideas or tips to do?

Honestly I've been where ur at I lost over 20 pounds then..my recommendation is to try other medication I combined zofran and phenergan which helped and when ur dehydrated go to the hospital don't go to work rest for ur body especially with vomiting all the time and keep trying new things slowly ice cubes help more then water..but it's going to be tough I wish u the best.

When I went through the same thing, I was prescribed promithazine 12.5mg and it saved me!! I could finally get relief and eat! I know us as moms don't want to take anything while pregnant, but when it comes down to not being able to eat, it for sure outweighs the risks of the medicine. Hope you get feeling better Hun. I know it sucks. Nothing else helped me except medicine. But everyone's different. You can try sour candies, ginger, lemon water, sea bands

Phenergan is the other name for promethazine too btw. I see lots of moms had good luck with it. I know I did!

Yes promethazone known as phenergan saved me too without it I wouldn't have been able to keep food down! Sometimes ginger won't work lemon didn't work for me either I just say keep avoiding foods that trigger the vomiting to but u may just vomit every single stay strong I promise it'll get better eventually..make sure to let ur obgyn know how bad it is so they could put u on the right medications I kept vomiting the zofran they gave me too..but I wish u the best and hope things get better!

Ask your doctor if they can call you in some Zofran. I am totally against taking anything since I've been pregnant but I had to take this for my glucose test and was able to keep it down. I also did peppermint tea. It sometimes helped me(when it wanted to) How you get to feeling better love. 😊

I've been in your shoes.. It's not fun, I lost 12 pounds in 3 days and about 30 all together in about 2 weeks, had to get IV fluids regularly, and finally got prescribed nausea medicine and slowly started eating crackers and drinking gatorade, I'm doing great now.
