Let me know if I'm being super sensitive but i feel like my boyfriend is a jerk for this. I say things occasionally to him about hoping that I'm able to breastfeed our son when he's born and his response is always something negative like "ur not gonna be able to do it" or like this morning he says "ur not gonna be able to produce any milk" and I finally snapped. I asked him y he would say something like that and y is he not supportive with something that is so important to me. He flips it on me and says that he was just joking but shit like that isn't funny to me 😒

He's being an ass. Hate when people claim they're joking knowing that's not how it came off.

Yeah I would be pissed too, you only want to do what's best for your baby. Joke or not. It's not funny. It's a serious thing, breast feeding takes confidence and he's not being helpful by making "jokes" about you not being able to do it.
