Just get the necessities, baby tub, sleeping area like a bassinet, and sitting chair for the baby the ones that swing. Try buy sale trades in the area if your on a tight budget, have a baby shower and put the rest on the registry list, like bottles, wipes, diapers and stroller. Don't waste ur money on clothes they grow out of them to fast anyway.

I also recommend Walmart and target over babies are US they really pricey I think.

@monita91, no crib let her buy it. Save your money as much as you can. Dish out the big items to the family like, have your parents buy the stroller and ask your best friend for the car seat or something. Stuff like that, then everyone on a budget can get the little stuff at the baby shower.

I would start buying pampers little by little. I'm not due for another 5 months n we already started to buy pampers. We also started with bottles. If u have a Dollar Tree in ur area that's a good place to get stuff from for cheap.

my parents got us the crib and bassinet/play pen set. his parents got us the crib bedding. and we've got out daughter two swings an extra play pen, a bouncer and baby bath. when it comes to diapers, since I was 11 weeks pregnant we've been buying them here and there, and wipes too.

most of the clothes I've gotten used. but some I just couldn't resist and paid new price for cute outfits! I'm due May 14th!
