Just a rant....What kind of parents are so lazy that they can't let their 18 month old experience…

@karnamarie, it makes me so mad! They also bring him clothes that don't fit or have holes in it. They care more about their cigarettes and beer then anything.

@mommyof3boys is there some way to talk to them or have another family member who they will listen too talk to them... that is some serious developmental issues and health issues from the teeth

that's horrible, my kids come first... and as soon as they outgrow something it goes to a thrift store or a garage sale.... I have barely any clothes that fit me, but I don't care as long as my babies get their clothes and diapers.... I brush my sons teeth twice a day (he's 2 1/2) he's been using utensils on his own since about 18 months, some things I help him with if we are out in public so he doesn't end up a hot mess lol but at home I strip him down and let him have at it lol that's why they have bathtubs

@karnamarie, they wouldn't listen. They are in their mid 40s and think they are the perfect parents. Here I am 30 years old and know better then to deal with this stuff. Not saying I'm perfect but my kids were messing with a spoon and fork when they were 1. I know they didn't know how to use them but at least they were introduced to them.

@sarahdrew, they would rather give him a bottle and some baby food that way they can be lazy and not do anything. I just don't see how they think an 18 month old can be full on baby food!

there is no way.... get the graduate meals, sheesh at least it's not pureed food

@sarahdrew, I give him normal food at my house. I refuse to give him baby food and a bottle. He gets a sippy cup here at my house.

good for you girl, at least someone cares enough to do right by the little man
