I got hired to be a server recently, and they told me to come in to sign paper work at 9am this morning.... I've been here since 8:40 and the manager that's suppose to open the restaurant is nowhere to be found. I'm thinking about just leaving and not even working here. This is super unprofessional.

Get used to it! Restaurants are crazy places to work. It's always so chaotic that I wouldn't think much of it. You'll make great money, I would at least just wait it out and give it a shot. I've worked as a server for 7 years and put myself through college, it's worth it.
