Need advice!!! My hubby plans on taking me and our 3-4 week old baby to Baltimore aquarium 2 hours away for my birthday in July... Does anyone think this is a bad idea!? I'd love to go! But am nervous with baby being so small!

I know that when my son was born my pediatrician told me 6 weeks was the safest time to start taking baby out. so we started at 2 months lol. I would be too scared to take a 3-4 week old baby out, especially to something that public.

Your the mom that's a choice you'd have to make yourself. You know what's best for your baby just follow your instinct

I'm flying to my father's house when mine will be 2 weeks. It'll be easy traveling considering newborns sleep most the day

we went I'm the dead if winter to see my dad for valentine's day when my daughter was 3.5 weeks and it was actually pretty easy considering she slept the whole way there other than once or twice to eat and be changed. just keep baby warm and away from anyone who may be sick and you should be fine.

It sounds fun! Assuming you're feeling up to it, baby should be fine. I'd tell him to play it by ear. I was very sore for the 6 weeks after delivery, idk how walking around an aquarium for a few hours would have felt lol.
