some women don't lose their plug at all, and others lose theirs several times and have it grow back. it's all just dependent on your body!

thank you. lol but I'm already 38 weeks .. 39 in Wednesday. so hopefully it is . plus it's the first time and it is greenish and more like a slobish kind.. do you have to lose your mucus plug before you start dilating? @katarama

Watch out a lot of mommas on this page get rude about posting your mucus plug picture on here . Just letting you know but I would just ask your doctor to be on the safe side

it looks like mucus plug. I would watch it. if it keeps happening and you start to notice signs of infection (burning, itching, odd smell, clumpy texture) then I would say get it checked out but if not then it's probably just part of your plug. :)

not true mine was a big greenish blob of MUCOUS not even smeared like hers look with no blood and went into labor a hour later lol .@omarismom, and my mucuous plug came out in pieces like yours too..soo it probably is pieces of your mucous plug but it grows back. @briannaxo2138

@snicole12, not true. i saw sonething similar to that when i was pregnant.. i asked my doc she said all mucus plugs are blood tinged.. could be pink or brown even.. when I lost mine.. it took a day to lose it all and each time I saw bits of it if was bloody.

no. that's just vaginal discharge.
your mucus plug should have a little bit of blood in it.
