Totally normal, try drinking some prune juice. My doc let me take peri-colase which is a stool softener and laxative combined. It worked on me big time. I had a c section which made my bowel movements extremely painful especially on all those pain meds (stuffing me up more).

I've just been taking Motrin, prenatal, and stool softener. I don't really want to take a laxative because I don't want to be stuck on the toilet aha @graciebaby

@kclaireeabbey, it wasn't that bad, it was just enough to get it out and get my bowels moving. Try celium husk, that stuff works wonders for me too.

when i had my first baby i had an almost 3rd degree tear and had 22 stitches so i was sent home on narcotics and those can constipate you!

@kclaireeabbey, they have it at walmart, longs, etc. where I live it's at any large department store.
