@lil_bigmama, but if I didn't have insurance I would be paying $75 for one and $500 for the other, unless I'm not understanding how that all works. I guess I'm just amazed at how much the hospital charges for something you can get done for $75 apparently

@allybrand, we just live in a crooked screwed up world. Ins don't care about nothing but making money I go round and round with mine all the time. I had the 10w dna test done it was 13,000 they try to charge blue cross for one test well it consist of 5 test actually but still ins didn't cover any I called and ended up paying 100.00 now that's a crazy price difference

@allybrand, i work in health care and our healthcare prices are so inflated its ridiculous. i just saw the explanation of benefits from my delivery and hospital billed for me 28,000 for my delivery and 16,000 for my son's time in the nursery and the in house pediatrician seeing him. That is not counting how much my insurance paid them the 38 weeks i was pregnant.
