Has anyone that is having a GIRL (I emphasize girl cause this is more common in boys), show in the ultrasounds that her kidneys have fluid in them & keep getting enlarged as the pregnancy went? Found out around maybe 20 something weeks that the fluid started & progressed from then on. Did everything turn out okay? Did you have to have her early? Was there any kind of complications?
I go to see a specialist tomorrow morning but I've been so nervous about this, I would just like to here from other people's experiences. Thank you!

@rileysmomma16, yes I found out my last daughter had duplicated kidneys that were all backed up and she went full term. She ended up having to have surgery when she was 3 mos and again at 6 mos. Is your baby backed up in both kidneys?

Yes. It's blocked in both kidneys. My ob is just worried we may have to deliver early because of that, she says they are about twice as large from the week before, that there is some sort of blockage so she is sending me to a specialist to get his opinion. She also had mentioned that I'm gaining a lot of extra fluid as well & that may cause in a factor of delivering early to take pressure off the both of us. How did the surgery go? Is she doing good now? @mamabee

@rileysmomma16, she is 7 and she's doing great! My daughter had to have 1/2 of her right kidney removed and on the left side the uteral reinserted into bladder. It was really a hard time to go through. I'm here anytime you need someone to talk to!
