what causes a doctor to decide to induce you instead of just wait until you go into labor in your own if you haven't reached 40 weeks? just curious I'm 30 weeks and getting anxious I know there's nothing I can do now but I'm just curious.

One of them if medical reasons if haven't reached your 40 weeks but other then that's it's because you've past your due date some doctors induce before others since we're all in different states/cities @oklahoma.girl55

all you have to go is ask at 39 and they can. If I make it to 39 weeks my doctor is inducing

ah okay cause like 3 of my friends are getting induced within the next week or two and all of their pregnancies have been normal no complications or anything so I was just wondering thos is my first little one so I'm a bit clueless to alot of this stuff @_stephanie.g @hermommy

@oklahoma.girl55 yeah girl 39 weeks is when they can legally induce, I didn't even know to ask and he and his nurse both told me they would gladly do it I just have to ask
