What a way to fuck up my morning. 😟
Today should be a great day! We will be finding out the gender of our baby so I'm beyond excited! I've been up since 6:30 a.m getting ready and cleaning up a bit to make time go by faster. Everything's fine. My mom comes in the room and asks me if I talked to my dad about today. He wanted to go with me but that was never part of MY plan. No one asked me what my plan was for today. It's just supposed to be me and my boyfriend at the clinic. No one else. So she told me that my dad told her that it looked like I didn't want him to go and she was like "I told him that those are not our plans.... So..." She walked off and comes right back and says "so you better start making plans RIGHT NOW about your new living arrangement because WE (my family) have other plans". She basically wants me out of the house today.
This is just putting so much more pressure on me and it hurts because it feels like she wants me to feel bad for having the father of MY baby be with me for this appointment.

I'm sorry she is doing this to you.... it's not right that because you and the baby's father are going to the appointment she is kicking you out.... she needs to understand that this isn't NOT her baby so she and your father won't be involved in every damn ultrasound or appointment.....

😢 this isn't a great position for you to be in and I am sorry your Mom isn't respecting your wishes today... Hang in there & try to focus on baby today and don't stress ❤️ I hope everything works out for you @optimusviolet

@sarahdrew, @expectingfirstrainbow I'm gonna put the negativity aside for today because today is supposed to be about my baby. I am hoping I can move out today after we leave the clinic. So I hope today ends well

Id give anything to have my dad back to go to the ultrasound with me. He was so excited about my daughter when she was born and i can only imagine how happy he would have been to see his first grandson.

I personally dont see a problem of your dad being there. I mean i wish i had room for everone that wanted to go to mine. But thats just my opinion. Im sure your dad was just as excited as you to find out what your having. Just saying.

@luvmyboyz, when I found out the gender it was just my husband and I because we wanted to share that moment. My mom has been to lots of my ultrasounds, and there will always be other ultrasounds. My husband and I did a gender reveal for our families so that's why no one went on top of the fact that we just wanted it to be us.
