sadly, for most events the expected rate of people who show up is 50% of those who rsvp.

I learned it the hard way at my wedding, people just don't show up sometimes. at least they're letting you know instead of just not coming!

@em1, I agree with @maybabyboy we had a bunch of people rsvp to our wedding and then the day got there and bam not everyone who said they would be there showed up, I ate leftovers for about a week lol
