May be a little TMI first thing this AM but were all adults here so.....
(I am 36 weeks 2d with my 3rd babyyy!!)
This morning about an hour ago now, me and the hubby had sex before he went to work. Before he came, I felt this gush of something come out and it soaked the sheets and It came up as far as my lower back so it was like a thin substance. He noticed it to but I didn't say anything so he could finish lol and right after that he came so that probably messed up the smell of whatever it was that came out. But I did smell it and it smelled strange and different than usual but I did smell mostly semen.
Now an hour later I am having contractions but they aren't intense so I'm not going into L&D Triage yet. I want to be sure when I go I won't be coming back lol.
But this morning I've just felt weird I can't explain it really, I don't feel bad I just had a lot more energy than normal. I usually go back to sleep in the mornings but....I am up cleaning the entire house which is unlike me at this time of morning. I'm just going to be ready just in case it was my water and the contractions get strong.
Has anyone else experienced this or maybe your water breaking during intercourse that could share their experience please??

Exact same thing happened to me. I was on top and it was A LOT of fluid. I went in and they tested, it came back negative but they couldn't explain what the fluid was. It definitely wasn't discharge (very thin and watery) and not semen (we had just started). Can't hurt to get checked though so go in and have them take a look :)

Sounds like maybe your water broke. Or you have a leak. Just keep an eye on it. Also it's better to be safe than sorry, L&D won't make you feel bad about going in and having it checked.

@kayla471, I'm unsure but that's what I'm wondering. It just felt weird and much different and it was a lot.
I just don't want to go into the hospital and for some reason it not be and I just get sent home so I'm trying to just wait on the real contractions. But I really don't know.

@sloza09, I figured if it was my water it would have still been leaking or something after I got up and went to the bathroom but it wasn't so that's why I'm confused a bit. 😑😑😑

I would call the hospital and ask a nurse.. they went admit you if you're not dilated and far enough into labor anyways.. the only thing I can think of is your water or you peed yourself.. lol. which I'm sure you'd be able to smell it if it was pee

I will say i am starting to feel more contractions and their slowly getting more painful.
I am dilated to a 3 and a half and 50% effaced as of last monday.
I am a scheduled c section bc of my previous c section but my Dr did say if I come in and I'm in labor we will go ahead and have the section since I am already 36 weeks. I'm gonna get ready just in case these contractions keep up and get more intense.

That's not necessarily true. My water broke in a huge gush at 22 weeks soaking our recliner then preceded to leak soaking through at least 3 thick towels during the hour ride then leaving trail of puddles the whole way into the hospital.

my water broke with my first and i waited 6 hours before going to hospital.. all threw the day id randomly feel water coming out.. had to change and put on pads til i went

My water broke with my daughter which was 7 years ago in my sleep and it was still coming out the whole time in the shower and on the way to the hospital that's why I'm just not sure 😐😐

If your scheduled to have ac sec. I would go get checked Just in case. Make sure you give them enough time to prep for surgery and your not being rushed around

@gagenkarmnpey, That's what I was thinking mostly about was I have to have a c section and don't want to wait too long if it was my water.
I did call my office and I have an appt at 315 today to be checked.

@sloza09, that's what sounds like happened this morning but I really can't be sure. I am having contractions though
