Okay so one of my close friends is pregnant & she has bed bugs, & she is due any day now. Her apartments said they would do an inspection on the 30th & the last treatment will be on the 14th of April, how is she supposed to have her newborn daughter staying there with bed bugs? Aren't the apartment people supposed to do something? She needs advice on what to do

Has she put a request in and that's the time frame they gave her or is that the time frame they have her because they're doing a routine treatment for all the apartments?

She would need to look up the specific rental rights laws for your specific state. Every state is different. But if she needs to leave she should start thinking of maybe a friend to stay with if it's not resolved in time? We got scabies once, and my son was maybe 6 or 7 months old, and it was terrible!!!!!! Probably the most miserable thing we've ever gone through. But bed bugs are easier to escape from so I would recommend looking for a temporary place to stay and looking up her rights as a tenant!
