Any ladies have Tricare Prime and get their breast pump through them? What kind is it? Will I need to buy more things for it? Do I have to store my milk in bags or can I just store it in those containers? I don't plan on pumping unless my husband wants to feed our son or were gonna be in the car for a while.

I got the medela electric pump it didn't come with any storage bags or container..

Okay so I assume you bought those things since you obviously need them, is there specific things you need to buy or does it just have to be Medela?

I'm going through Aeroflow breast pumps to get mine. They handle getting he perscription from the doc and calling tricare to get the pump you want! Give them a try. I use tri care reserve select and so far so good. They have a Facebook page

Can I do that? I thought I had to get the prescription straight from my doctor and then go to tricare. I didn't know I could do it any other way?

You can also get a pump from target and send tricare your receipt to get reimbursed
