hey Ladies . I've been giving my baby formula for the last two months because of my supply being low . I've been giving my boob here and there and its like she hates it. she only stays on it for like 6 secs then unlatch then try to latch again . over and over again . how can I get my supply back up quick & fast . I want to give her breast milk & formula

Uh, I mean she's prob not getting enough so she's jerking away out of frustration. When your milk production starts going up she'll stay longer(:

@maddieg4648, thank you & is there a way I can get my baby to stay latched on for a longer period of time . I have to keep latching her every 10 secs. it's so frustrating . when I was strictly breastfeeding she would stay latched till she was full

Go get the herb Fenugreek you can get it at Walmart for like 4 bucks! It's with the vitamins! You need to take about 8 a day! Regularly but you're gonna get engorged again so have a pump handy!

@kit415kittykatt, hey I don't have much experience at all considering I'm a FTM and almost 37 weeks pregnant. But I have seen other moms post about this and some moms on here say that they make an herbal tea called Mother's milk and other types of cookie/bar things that help to promote lactation. I was in Babies R Us last Friday to pick up a few last minute things and I saw in their breastfeeding section they had a whole end cap filled with this type of stuff and I think they increase ur milk supply. I also have seen other moms say to try pumping to increase the supply too. Again I'm a FTM so none of this is personal experience as I have yet to breastfeed bc my little boy isn't here yet, but I figured I would pass on the info that I have seen given to other moms. I hope this helps. If no one else comments maybe u can google the things I suggested and it could give u more info. I hope I was of some help and good luck!!! 😊.
