I'm helping plan mine, but I've been planning since I found out I was pregnant so in a sense my friend is just doing small things lol there is nothing wrong with planning your own baby shower at least you know you'll get what you want and like. My grandmother planned my first baby shower she made the invitations and set everything up with a little help from my mom. But wait at least 2.5 more months you never know when someone might offer

I did most of the work for mine. I did have a friend that helped but I'm way more crafty. She was more the day of coordinatior so I could focus on getting pretty.

@valrocks, that was nice of her. How much time did you have to take to set up ?

Well I'm a crazy planner and I like to do things with time so I started in January for my shower in March. I made the invitation and made the decorations that were also the favors over time. She did come over and help me with things

Me and my mom are doing mine. It was supposed to be just my mom but I felt bad making her pay for everything cause it's not cheap. So I would buy the stuff then tell her so there was nothing she can do about it lol.
