Aw it's great! Use as much cream as you want for the first few days until your milk comes in and you won't have to use it after that, I just smothered it on before and after feeds and after the first four days he was great! Cluster feeding is tiring but my supply is great now!xxx

The best advice I can give is persevere! It's hard for the first few days, and you'll be really tired and quite sore but my little boy is two months now and it's so amazing im loving every step of my journey, I didn't take bottles or milk because I knew I'd give in too easy, They do cluster feed for a bit at first and you'll feel like you never put them down but they're just building your supply up for the next few months it's not because your supply is low! I was in hosp for four days because everyone kept telling me he had a tongue tie and wouldn't be able to feed but I persevered and it was just a dodgy latch, as soon as I managed to do it properly it felt sooo much easier xxx

I was so upset they kept telling me I needed to express, I absolutely refused until we saw a specialist and he didn't have a tongue tie it was only his latch! Thank god! Still can't believe they put us through that! And yeah that's the best idea, supplementing with bottles/formula can really mess with your supply, as long as baby had enough wet and dirty nappies a day they're being fed enough xxx

They work on a supply and demand basis, the more you feed the more you make, so feed whenever baby makes cues or just wants to comfort and lots of skin to skin and you'll be fine! I did the breast crawl for my little boys first feed it was magical😍xxx

If you youtube it it's really beautiful to watch, rather than you putting baby on your bpob for first feed, you put them on your belly im skin to skin straight after the birth and they crawl slowly to your boob and latch on themselves, I do it with vincent all the time but I'll never forget the first time 😍xxx
