Hung out with my husband, his coworker and coworkers pregnant wife yesterday. Let's just say I tried to start conversations left and right she is such a shy person and follows her husband around like a lost puppy dog. I asked my husband if it was me and he told me no that she wouldn't talk to him either and she goes to work and sits there with her husband and doesn't say a word. I was so bored so I hung out with my husband and his coworker the wife sat in the car. Felt bad to leave her there by herself but I can't force someone to talk to me.

It was so hard. I was trying to be nice asked about her pregnancy since she was only 3.5 months. I got one worded responses. My husband tried to ask her about her pregnancy nope his friend talked more about it then the wife would. Idk I tried she was just very to herself type and followed her husband around like a lost puppy. Like I love my husband but I still need my space and definitely don't want to follow him around 24/7. @rheganolivia

@babynessa, and it's so hard to deal with people like that! Maybe she is shy but damn at least have manners! It's not that hard!

I know right. Just glad I'm not as rude like she was. They invited us to hang out. I could have stayed home and done something productive then being ignored all night. Only reason why I went was because my husband's coworker thought it would be nice for his wife to know someone that's pregnant and has gone through it.

She may have social anxiety. I used to be the way you described her and my social anxiety was terrible! Sometimes even when someone is trying to have a conversation with you, you think what you say in response isn't the right response. lol thankfully my very sociable husband insists and works with me on how to conversate like normal people. But I definitely get why you felt that way
