@Caitlynmiller, wow sounds like it to me that he crossed the line by telling her! Specially because that is confidential. He can easily get fired for that! I actually had something similar happen to me, I went to the health department to get birth control come to find out I was expecting again and the receptionist decided to tell one of the girls I knew. Keep in mind no one but me knew until she told the other gal and in a matter of minutes I got the disappointment that my husband hand already knew because of them, I turned her in for that and she got laid off!

Wow. Yea, I mean he's a nice guy. I wouldn't want to get him fired but that just makes me feel uncomfortable or like I can't trust him and I'm putting my child's life in his hands so I NEED to trust him. I don't want the hassle of finding a new doctor but idk how I can get over it

you already can't trust that dr. girl. If he is talking about a small thing like a water birth just imagine what he is going to tell if there is something more complicated. God forbid. And just think about all of the other ladies that he is doing this to. It may not feel right to report the man but if he is doing it to you he's doing it to all of his patients

But I wonder, because he knows we're friends. She begged him to take me as a patient even though he had no openings. Maybe he thought it was ok cuz we're friends and she already knew I was having a water birth. I just didn't like that it was like "gossiping" because I'm hearing 2 different stories. I want him to be honest with me. I'm flexible, not demanding, if he thinks water birth isn't a good idea then I wouldn't but he was all for it to me :/
