Why is it that the people who have NEVER been pregnant before always have the most advice to give about pregnancy and delivery??? I literally had someone tell me that if I start feeling more pressure after bouncing on my yoga ball, to go in to L&D & get checked because they will most likely keep me and get things going..... Yeah my OB would probably call me and say "Are you f****** serious?" if I did that lol... I was also told by this same person that I shouldn't be surprised if I go in for my next check and my water breaks, because this person actually thinks it's REALLY common for your water to break during a cervical check........ what the heck do I know, though lol I'm only the one that's 9 months pregnant 😂

Lol I personally don't know anyone who's water has broken during an exam, but I'm sure it has happened. You are going to feel pressure... you have a 5-8 lb human kicking around in a sack that's at least 3 lbs itself and extra fluid that's even more weight.. Not to mention the baby is steadily moving down, down, down into the birth canal so... "pressure" is an understatement. I have have had two babies and by no means think I'm an expert (although I am the oldest of 7 children too so my mom was pregnant almost my entire childhood) and both my pregnancy where completely different.... So what someone may have experienced may not happen to you.

@karnamarie, Same lol she only knows 1 person who that happened to lol. That's what I told her though.. He's already in a -1 station so I already have a ton of pressure as it is!! I don't think anyone can ever be an expert on it by any means (except medical professionals of course), but it kills me when people who have never experience pregnancy before try to become experts and try to act like all of this crazy stuff happens when it doesn't.. Or when they think they're an expert on what is going on with MY body and my pregnancy 😂 Ahhh I'm too darn pregnant to be listening to it! Lol

😂 yeah my midwife would laugh at me be like deal with it your not coming in unless your water breaks or there's tons of contractions but midwife did tell me if I do go over my due date she will break my water for me and we will see where things go trying to stay away from being induce
