Maybe because I grew up in a religious family it's bugs the crap out of me how people say they are celebrating Easter which means finding eggs and getting toys and other such things.
Which is so not what Easter is about
I don't know maybe it really is just me but I hate the fact so many celebrations about God have just been turned into dumb material bs

I understand the true meaning of Resurrection Sunday/"Easter" I just feel as though we can't necessarily fault those that may not know! But just kindly in love share what we know about the holiday! 🙂 so many people have different upbringings and the Easter bunny may be all they know or what they choose to believe. Ya know?

Truth!! It makes me not want to do the whole egg/ bunny thing with my babies to separate the real Easter from the other stuff... But I don't want to cheat them and they resent me. I dunno what to do.

like Christmas too. my kids go to a Catholic School so I'm really glad they're learning the true meaning of these holidays from an early age!

We do have easter baskets and color eggs but we also go to church and observe lent.
