We really don't know what happen to our daughter, we was in the ER when she passed but still having that extra security will make me feel so better. It's expensive but I think totally worth it.
my boyfriend lost his daughter to SIDS when she was 3 months so we need something pretty badly too! I read on their website and review that it can also be clipped on the side for when they do sleep on their stomachs ! I loved the owlet and I still kind of consider it but one lady wrote on their Facebook that her son was aspirating (spell check) and the owlet didn't go off so that kind of freaked me out the most but I've heard the socks can also just be faulty and they'll send a new one :)
so who knows!
That's why I'm kind of iffy about getting one but after losing my daughter I think I will end up getting it. And I've heard that once the baby starts to roll over and lays on their tummy the Snuza doesn't work anymore.
I had my heart set on it since I was about 8 weeks but I saw too many bad reviews. now I'm getting the Snuza! but it seems like when the Owlet actually works then it works great!
I'm getting it :) but haven't used it before so I can't really answer your question. However I am an iOS developer and have looked into the ins and outs of the app itself and it seems pretty great!
That's a bummer. I'm not due until November so the android app will be out by then.
I'm sorry that's so hard! my boyfriends daughter passed 4 years ago and he still struggles so I can only imagine!
