use the no ammonia brands. I use Revlon colorsilk. Its like 2.46 at walmart for a box. Works perfect. If you got thick hair use two boxes. Make sure you are in a ventilated area. I had the door open to the bathroom and a fan blowing out the door on my other side behind me.

I dyed my hair one time, had the fan blowing in my face all the time but also took breaks every couple of minutes. Wouldn't bleach it tho

@jane524, I always did. If you use boxed home dyes do the ones with no ammonia or have windows open and a fan going so you don't breathe it in too long. If you get it professionally done then they usually have a due that is safe for pregnant women.
