Bit of an off topic rant here but I find it so unbelievably frustrating when people think they can belittle you for a choice you make that's best for your family!
Back story-
5.30am this morning, hubbys phone goes off, he has a message on gumtree. We are needing to relocate our dog as unfortunately I don't trust him around my kids. He gives me a bad gut feeling and I will protect my kids no matter what. Anyway I read the message this morning as i was up feeding Emma, and this lady seriously has the nerve to have a go at me and question why were relocating him? She's lucky gumtree doesn't allow profanities or I would have told her to fuck off. Made me so mad.

^Exactly! There's always going to be rude, judgmental people out there sadly, but that speaks more about that lady than anything else. You know what's best for your family, not her! 💞

Glad to see im not just being hormonal and irrational, it really made me mad, and besides its not like we're just throwing him out on the street. We're doing the hard yards and interviews to find him a perfect home. Nosy cow can go choke on a cactus for all I care. Lucky you can't get phone numbers off of gumtree or she would have got a big piece of my mind. Lol.

We had two dogs when I was born and mum had to re home one because he was jealous of me. Of course it's sad but it's for your kids safety!!!

Our boy is a German shepherd mix, he's never shown any signs of aggression towards eli or other kids but I just have a feeling in my stomach that one day it might happen. And having a cousin lose her little boy a few years back in Mackay from a dog attack that was also a family members dog and a German shepherd I just get uneasy. I'd rather be safe than sorry, and he needs a companion and were not anyway in a position to take on another dog.

Oh gosh yes it's not worth the risk. It sounds horrible too but you will have less work. I love my dog to bits but she is a bit of work the little pig!
