I did. First of all because we r muslim. Second to keep it clean. In the future less problems. My friend didnt do it, but when her son was 5 years old they decide to do it, he've been having infection all the time.
I wouldn't do just because my husband isn't and has never had any problems. and I wouldn't want to do it because it's not really necessary unless for religious reason.
I did not circumsize. my first son I did however. my so is not circumsized he is 40 has never had no problems with infection or anything of that nature. after having one circumsized and one not I honestly don't believe it should be done leave em the way they were born it is something they can choose to do when they are older but once it's gone it's gone and you will never know. my little love is perfect I'm sooo glad we didn't. its really unnatural. @babyboy1202 @molshito
I plan on doing it just personal choice. His father is and they say it puts boys at higher risk for infection and if you try to get them circumsized later on it so much more painful for them. My friend had to do it for her son at 3 years old after he kept getting infections.
My husband is circumcised so my son will be. Easier to clean & less chance of infection. I don't find it an issue...I wasn't sure at first, but I don't want my son to feel different from his father.
I had my first done and I absolutely regret it. My 3 week old is intact and we haven't had any problems. He's so different from his brother. My eldest had screaming fits at 3 weeks and my 3 week old is calm and more collected. It's up to you but I'd suggest researching as much as possible
We have decided to do it. I think it's you and the fathers decision and I HATE when people attack each other for their decision. But, one main reason we've decided to do it is because I honestly believe it's easier to keep clean and keep infection away. My nephew is 14 and was uncircumcised. He has fought infections 'down there' his entire life, and it seemed like no matter how clean he kept it, he had issues with it. He ended up having to be circumcised just this past year and it was way worse on him now as it would've been then. Some people don't have any issues at all being uncircumcised. But, I don't want to take that chance and end up having to have my son done later on in life. My nephew could hardly walk for a week :( It all comes down to you and the father, and what you guys are comfortable with! People should respect your decision as parents either way. Goodluck momma :)
My almost 2 year old is intact. Never had issues. When cleaning the penis, you wipe like a finger, and don't try to retract the skin. I personally cant find a reason to allow someone to cut my child without a legitimate medical reason. Vanity and cleanliness aren't a valid reason to circumcise. (This is my opinion)
I plan on my son being circumsized. personal choice. but I just try to remember for all those that aren't and have no problems there are just as many that aren't and do have problems. also yes he could choose to have it done later in life but why worry about the possible infections and him possibly having to get it done because of infections or other issues when he's old enough to remember the pain? but I feel like it's a personal choice all parents have to make.
its best to do your research on circumcision because there's more pros then cons when it comes down to circumcise your son. It is true your child is more prone to infections and contracting STDs. Because of the fact that he is uncircumcised not only that as a parent just like a female child you have to teach your child how to clean his/her private area, but there's only so much that you can teach your son how to clean his penis and as he get older boys tend not to take a bath on a daily basis like a female does to keep their bodily functions in order so me personally in my opinion if I have a son I will definitely circumcise him. because yes I've had friends who got circumcised when they were 10 cuz there parents couldn't afford it back then. I've had guys tht wasn't circumsized and wanted to get circumsized but it will be too painful because of the fact that they cannot catch an erection in the process of healing after getting the skin removed. it will be to painful and the healing will take a longer time then a infant. so I think it is best if you circumcise your son in my opinion.
I plan to have my son circumcised. Personal decision! His father agrees so we are! As many other moms here stated, do what YOU and your SO feel is best! 😉
I plan to get my son circumcised. just for health reasons. im gonna be sad while he's healing but im glad i have alot of support. my mom didnt with one of my older brothers and he had an infection from not cleaning the foreskin properly and at the age of 23, she chose to get it done. he said it was VERY painful .

circumcised it lowers the risk of them having trouble with infections and other things when they get older

I'm not circumcising my boy. It's completely healthy either way it goes. But it's just me and my boyfriends just to not do so.
