i was reading to my daughter and she was happily touching the pages like usual, then I start seeing blood on the page, and on my arm, my leg, her clothes, finally I see her hand covered in blood (meanwhile she's happy as can be ). so I calmly (so i dont scare her) wash her hand in the sink and find a gnarly paper cut on her thumb. I held a paper towel on it for like 10 minutes, but it was still bleeding, so I put a tiny bandaid on her thumb and put a sock over her hand so she can't suck her thumb.... if she had noticed that she had a booboo, I think it wouldve been a lot worse. momma has to be more careful next time!
