eh. I almost doubt that. mine measured 8 +. a week before I delivered. ... she was 7. lol.

Yeah. if you're already almost completely effaced and some sort of dilated , yes it helps. but if not, it'll likely not help. my doc wouldn't do mine until I hit 90% effaced - & 3cm- and I went into labor that same night. (this was all with my first)

im high risk and will need to be induced but i wanted to try that before they induced me @ashsmith91

I don't know why anyone would do that unless high risk and have to deliver before due date. my daughter was 40w4d and only 7 lbs even , they come when they're ready. don't rush it.

yes I did my first one due to I was high risk at the time idk why they never explain how I was high risk it doesn't hurt
