Is this first baby? That is completely normal. You might also have an anterior placenta which will make you feel baby later.

@buckeyesfan, this is my 4th baby. Last ultrasound I had showed that everything was normal but that was at 10 weeks.

My baby was lazy until I had drunk some coffee a few days ago. I havent had any the whole time but it gave the baby motivation to finally get some kicks and movement in lol. I told my SO water, food and coffee has inspired this baby.

I bet you have an anterior placenta! I am 19 weeks 1 day with my 5th and I feel her so much less. I had some trouble with spotting at week 14, which was diagnosed after ultrasound from a low placenta-and they told me then it was anterior and that I would feel kicks near as strong because of it. Baby kicks placenta so it's 'muffled'

@lashellg, I suppose it doesn't help that I am plus size. Hoping to feel more movement soon. I only worry because we had some issues around 10 weeks. Glad you are feeling baby move. Best feeling in the world. :)

lol Im on the plus side myself I felt little knocks before. I hope on Wednesday they will cooperate though. They were too lazy and chill my last appointment. So I said we need this baby moving. What was going on at 10 wks?

@buckeyesfan, no worries. lol I guess we will find out on Thursday about the placenta. @lashellg I had a subchorionic hemorrhage and had bleeding.

@mommyof3boys, I didn't definitively feel my baby until 24-25 weeks. I'm also a little overweight and have an anterior placenta. My doc told me not to worry that movements aren't counted until after 28 weeks.

@lashellg, everything has been going good. Baby's heart rate has been 140 every appointment. @emeliaday well that makes me feel a little better. I feel flutters but not a whole lot.
