@mjmommy, @caddiebugg @nathansmommy2 when we first got together my boyfriend told me he never wanted to get married and I was content with that because I always looked at it as just a piece of paper stating the obvious but it's so different to me now and he says he wants to get married too but doesn't know when.. I don't wanna rush things but god how id be happy to have his last name and share it with him and our child.

@emileeann43, it's crazy how our minds changed so quickly when we started growing a human. I know we'll be a family regardless but I want their last name too.

I felt the same way with my first husband and pregnancy we got married when I was 5 months pregnant with our first child we always said we were going to get married anyways so I just sped it up a little it was great but I always had in the back of my mind would he have married if we weren't pregnant I'm sure he would have but I it did cross my mind when things got tough

Yes. Emma's bio dad(sperm donor) is different from Joseph's dad. Sadly. It's a long story that I won't get into but Joseph's dad has been taking care of Emma since she was born.
