Any suggestions? My lo is a week old. She has a very raw, red rash mostly close to her anus. we use sensitive wipes, butt paste, let it air out a couple times a day, and even started just washing her off twice a day and letting her air out. Anything I can try doing to my diet to try and make things easier for her?

maybe it's the diapers. have you tried switching brands?

cutting out dairy could help. if you see no change in a week four you cut it out then it could be acidity foods like tomatoes.

My baby was doing that with pampers but we switched to Huggies and its gone

@ella1007, it's literally just around her butthole, so my gut is telling me it's not the diaper

@emily18234, hers was mostly around her butthole too but a little red all over. I have been using destin on her too

@ella1007, yeah if it was red anywhere else, I'd kind of consider the diapers, but unless we're giving her a wedgie and don't know it, there's a high probability it's not. we've been using but paste which is the same active ingredient, but found a desitin with a higher % of the ingredient, so we're trying that now

I'd try new diapers just in case, but definitely ask her pedi
