Why is it that when you're pregnant it seems like you go through the most stress? I still don't know…

Why is it that when you're pregnant it seems like you go through the most stress? I still don't know where I'm going, moving in with my son's father or staying with my mom? I'm not sure I can afford my own place- car note, insurance, phone bill, daycare for two, rent and utilities. My mom and I don't speak but she watches my oldest but I don't like the schedule she has him on. He doesn't start school until next year and my kids father can be a asshole one day and the next a decent person plus has his own bills he will expect me to pay since he doesn't work and will not watch a baby. I am totally stressed.
