I have 2 weeks left to decide if I want my tubes tied. I would have liked to try for a girl but obviously there is no gender guarantee and I truly do not want anymore children unless I can get a girl. I'm so stuck and can't make a decision. I know one thing is for sure SO and I are reckless when it comes to pregnancy prevention and I refuse to have anymore kids because I finally finished school and would like to start my career. I am going to be 30 yrs old soon I refuse to put my career on hold any further.

I think that only you can be sure but my sister in law really regrets it and wishes she didn't. If this is something you are considering, definitely weigh out everything and what's most important. Remember if you do decide to, there is always adoption. He can also get a vasectomy which is reversible. Good luck!

I will be 32 tomorrow and it took me a minute to get this decision. I have a 10 Yr old boy from a previous and my fiance has a 12 Yr old girl from previous. we have a daughter together and now I'm having a boy which its the first boy in 29 years of his family so it's a big deal and he was kind of upset that I was choosing to tie them, but I will have 3 and so will he. I want to live life and not always be changing diapers and kids aren't cheap!
