My son has really bad crust and stuff in his eyes which I wipe it seems every 5 minutes. Is it normal for a newborn and when will it start to ease up? Maybe its because their vision is starting to form I guess ?

put breast milk on a cotton ball and rub it on his eyes, air probably went into his eye if you have a fan on facing his way turn it off my daughters was like that and it was because air went into her eye and I had the fan facing her way

my pediatrician said it's totally normal, their tear ducts haven't formed all the way. you can try massaging the tear ducts three times a day and wipe away the goop/crust with warm water or breast milk. as long as the eye itself isn't red or irritated, you're fine:)

Yes it's a clogged tear duct we just saw the Pediatrician about it ....
