they should of took his blood to get his blood type before giving you the shot? if his is negative they will. or they might just do it now for protection and just in case..

your body is the one that would create the antibodied, so you don't need to worry about it at all. no matter what your babies blood is, your blood is compatible with + or - blood and that is what matters.

what happens is the most basic terms, is if you were a- and baby was a+, if his blood mixed with yours, your body would create an army to try and get rid of it since your body isn't compatible. the babies don't "have that option"(for lack of a better term)
