Went to L & D yesterday after falling at work they monitored me and baby overnight and all is well! but i guess I'm having contractions and not feeling them? Anyone else experience this?

I did. the day my son was born.

I did with my daughter at 36 weeks, was just a slight uncomfortable feeling but nothing really changed. Never felt them but got an epidural so I could sleep.
