Ok ladies, I need a little reassurance... I am 37 weeks almost 38 weeks pregnant and I have eaten…

I'm 31 weeks today and have ate it my entire pregnancy and my baby girl and I are completely healthy!

I always eat cold ham turkey corn beef my baby is big and healthy you just gotta make sure its fresh I'm 37 weeks and I'm fine matter of fact I had cold cuts today for.lunch feeling gooood lol

i eat a ham and cheese sandwich daily lol its one of my cravings and i ate it with my other two who are healthy.

I hate warm sandwich ham too! Lol. I cried when I was craving it while pregnant and my OBGYN told me not to eat it. I didn't just cry a little I bawled my eyes out because I craved it soooo bad and then threw the ham across the kitchen and as I'm bawling yelled "if I can't have it nobody can have it" then I stomped off. 😂 That was a horrible day for me but I was told by a different doctor it is okay to eat in moderation just like hot dogs (my OBGYN said I couldn't eat that either and that was the second thing I craved the most.)😂😂

Listeria is the reason Dr's tell you to heat your lunch meat until steaming....

Right!!!!! I was so mad and hormonal that day. It wasn't funny then when it happened but now looking back on it it cracks me up. 😂

It's not very common to develop, but lately it's been in the news a lot, I heat my deli meat as a safety precaution.

Like it said, it's rare, but I'm not taking the chance on something that could have been prevented.

Honestly, it's rare, like I said, but I'd rather be safe. I nuke it and eat it once it's cooled down. I didn't mean to scare you, I was just trying to show you why most Dr's tell some to heat it. Every gets different advice from Dr's. This is just what my Dr recommends.

Neva heard of it my Dr just said either warm it up or eat it in moderation but has to be fresh @babykarter but like I said you have to make sure its fresh meat so don't worry now I don't do hotdogs pregnant or not lol but imma eat my ham and stuff I just make sure I buy it fresh and don't eat it past 7 days which it never lasts that long in my House I don't buy processed lunch meat that's what carries the bacteria your gonna be fine hun just eat in moderation and please don't believe everything u read that a kill u 😂😂😂

I've heard of it,but it doesn't concern me. I make sure its good like @supermommy31082 said a d still enjoy my sandwiches. Haven't had a problem yet!

If anything just talk to your doctor. I think that's the best option since your doctor knows everything about your pregnancy and your doctor will know what's the best option for your specific pregnancy. If anything, you could warm it up and put it back in the fridge to get cold that? Lol. Whatever you do don't be me! 😂 @babykarter
