I was told if it's bright red and only when you wipe or a few drops in the bowl, no. but if it's a lot or dark brownish like old blood, yes. that could mean intestinal bleeding. but most likely it's a hemorrhoid and shouldn't be a lot of blood, but can me a shock to see if you're not expecting it.

can't hurt to call your dr and ask... prob nothing to worry about but when in doubt, I always call
