I have a medication question mamas, it's 9:30 here so I can't call my lactation consultant or Dr.... I have some Norco left from my c-section, they knew I was breastfeeding when they prescribed it, however I was just wondering if it would be ok to take one before I go to bed? I am having some pretty bad back pain tonight and not sure why, tried cracking it and tried advil and nothing seems to help.... any opinions mamas??

The Norco is safe to take while breastfeeding.

thank you @twinmama510 I am in horrible pain, not sure why and I need some relief.... I usually wouldn't take it but it's a last resort

The only advice I would give is to not co sleep while on the Norco. There's a possibility you could sleep deeper and not be as aware of your baby. But, you need relief and rest too. I hope you feel better. You could try a heating pad as well. Mine is my best friend.

I may do that (5 months post partum) I have to find it tho, I seem to misplace things frequently lol..... I don't co-sleep with her, she sleeps in her pack n play in the room right next to ours so that wouldn't be an issue, and she sleeps thru the night (some nights 10 hours) just about every night thankfully.... again thank you so so much
