Since I had my daughter at 34 weeks I have to get the progestrone shots every week this pregnancy…

They started mine at 24 weeks but thats because i went to my ob late. Usually they start right away.

@raquel7, ok thank you. do they hurt or make you feel like crap?

They start at 16 weeks, I get them weekly because I had my first daughter at 32 weeks and my second at 33 weeks. They can hurt but if you keep weight off of the side they give it in when they do it, it doesn't hurt as bad!! The next day I am usually tired and a bit cranky after getting them.. Good luck!!

They are not comfortable!! I've skipped a few because of the way they make me feel!! Probably shouldn't but I have!!

@brittn, well luckily I make the schedules where I work so I think I will just schedule myself the day of and after my doctors appointment

I think it all depends on how the nurse gives it too you. To me they dont hurt but when a nurse came that wasnt mine nurse and she gave me that shot it hurted and made me feel dizzy after it. So i just stick to my nurse
