if your on wic I have no problem with that... but please don't he rude to the cashiers and or management if we are out of something. everyone needs the same stuff the same time of the month! so please be nice to us!!!!

I always spread mine out as much as possible. I don't go on the date the wic is available. Especially for formula. I go a few days later. I'm also on food stamps because I had lost my job and When I was working I wasn't making enough for rent utilities etc. so I use my food stamps to get formula too.

or when they get an attitude because they got the wrong brand/weight...I have been a cashier AND I am currently on WIC and it seriously so easy to get everything right the first go around if you read it clearly.

I agree. But the store in my city is always out of most things the WHOLE month lol.

Yeah I like WIC as a program and it's helpful for many people but I am a grocery store manager and I have dealt with customers all of this week cussing me out in front of there children and my employees over being out of something!!! if your nice I work with you or substitute but I'm so sick of people being rude to me over it! @andiryan93

@katarama, yes it isn't that hard but I try to be patient I get it! it's stressfull and it's just as bad for the cashiers!!! and @ls99 in that case it's a little different but typically it's a problem above the store level and it's not our faults and we get yelled and cussed out all day over it and it's very hard to not lash back at a certain point!!!

Yes I know @autumnrae I work at Lowe's so I know all too well about cashiers catching the attitudes when it's not our fault.

@ls99, Yeah I'm a manager so I get the worst of the worst and working weeks with no breaks and 10-15 hour days at 5 months pregnant it's super difficult to take it with a smile some days!!!

When I first started wic when I was pregnant with my daughter I was confused on how it worked (because nobody explained it to me) and what exactly I was looking for because some stores it's certain brands that are excepted and blah blah blah. But I only made 1 mistake and the cashier was nice and worked with me on it and explained it to me. So I know what I'm doing now. Your right it's not that hard. Lol it's quite easy
