Trying to break my little man of his bottle is beyond difficult, how do I do it?! I can't stand the crying I feel like I'm hurting him 😭😭
@nessa_475, that's a really good idea, I actually wouldn't be opposed to me holding him until he falls asleep like I did when he was a tiny little thing but my husband thinks it will make him "a mommas boy"
awwww. hopefully it'll end soon. maybe u can give him a sipy cup while watching his fav movie. @dantesmommy1120
@nessa_475, I think Friday at bed time I'm just going to put him in his crib and put in ear plugs 😪😒
the more you do it, the more he'll catch on that he can't have it anymore. its gonna be tuff but by the sounds of it, its your best bet. good luck momma. stay strong!! @dantesmommy1120
@nessa_475, he literally will cry all night, last time I tried that it was 4:30am before he even laid down tired, I'm going to have to do it on a weekend when I'm off.
my husband works with dilenquents so I've seen how they are and how they treat and talk to their parents @dantesmommy1120
sometimes us mom's have to do what we gota do. don't let a child over run u cuz then they'll think they own u @dantesmommy1120
it may be harsh but maybe jus completely taking it away is ur best bet. he'll cry for awhile but if u pay no mind to him throwing his fit, eventually he'll tire himself out and accept the sipy cups. jus leave the sipy cup out for him and tell him that's his new cup, bottle went bye bye. @dantesmommy1120
@nessa_475, 16 months. Every body tells me I goofed by letting him have a bottle after 12 months.
@nessa_475, the it broke just resulted in him laying in the middle of my living room floor screaming until I was almost positive he was going to bust a blood vessel, he could care less about rewards or toys maybe now that he's a little bit older I'll try it again.
@nessa_475, during the day he only gets his sippy which he's okay with, but as soon as bed time comes around if he doesn't have a bottle he will literally cry all night, I tried it he finally tuckered himself out about 4:30am.
they are babies still, they need that cuddle time @dantesmommy1120
