she either sleeps on my chest or next to me and I lay on my side facing /cuddling her

I do with both. At night I usually swaddle, in the day in sleepers unless I really need them to sleep. We kept them between us sleeping on the bed at first then bought a soft bassinet to keep on the bed and keep them in that now. I never had them in the crib, they are only newborn once, I couldn’t keep away 😊 I will move them to the crib or pack n play in a few weeks.

I don't do it every night but here and there I have since she was born. she's 4 months now.

I do because she won't sleep anywhere else
