So it's kind of gross, at least it makes me feel gross, but I've started to get these weird dry patches of skin near my mouth out of nowhere. it's one patch on each side near the corners of my mouth and it's really weird and annoying and kind of painful. They were a little red when I first noticed them and I put a little lotion on them thinking that I just forgot to moisturize or something, but they're now dark patches and I've been dealing with them all week. They pretty much feel like and look a little bit like when you've been blowing your nose to the point where it gets raw and chapped and peels. They peel a little and I put lotion on them to no relief, and they actually kind of burn just a bit when I put something on them. Have any other mommies had this happen to them? What did you do and what did you use to alleviate it? It's making me self-conscious as its right next to my mouth and I feel like it's really visible even though it probably isn't. I don't use a bunch of face makeup on a daily basis and haven't used any in months to be honest, just my usual face cleansers that I've been using all this time and this issue just popped up this week so I'm just chalking it up to being another weird pregnancy symptom that I didn't know about.
