** Attention Mama's...... I've read quite a few posts of moms either unable to find out the gender, or unable to get good views/pictures of their babies due to the baby's position during the ultrasound...... Sooo, I wanted to share this lil bit of advice...... Ask if you can stand up and move around for a couple minutes if the baby's in an awkward position because baby's very likely to move once you do!... The reason I suggest this, the lady that works for my obgyn always gives that option and she's been doing it for over 30 years. When I was pregnant with my daughter, she was laying weird and if she wouldn't have let me stand up for the time she did, I wouldn't have found out her gender that day......
You can also drink something really sugary or with caffeine before you go in, but, that's completely up to you obviously! Everyone feels differently about caffeine consumption... But, it's not a huge deal as long as you're not slamming red bulls or entire pots of coffee every day!

yeah, some techs are caring and outright offer, but some don't... A lot of first time mothers don't know that it's even an option to ask for stuff like that.

They told me to drink plenty of water before an ultrasound and she been doing this for 18yrs this one tech it helps the pic so u can see ur lil bundle of joy body parts of part of them come much clearer and if did so it helped me out in the end especially when it came time to do my 3D and 4d ultrasound pic and of they ever need her to move around a little more they gave me some cold sweet juice and boy she really started moving then lol

I had to get up and move around at my anatomy scan cause baby's legs were literally Indian style & hiding the goods from plain sight. When he still didn't move they did a transvaginal so they could basically look up to the parts to tell me 😂
