they should've let you stand up and walk around for a few minutes to see if the baby would turn around! the ultrasound tech that works for my obgyn always gives that option... she's been doing it for over 30 years. when I was pregnant with my daughter, she was laying weird and if she wouldn't have let me stand up for the time she did, I wouldn't have found out the gender that day!
