It just hit me. Dallas and I are signing the lease on our first apartment. A duplexed house in a three bedroom, the house has a history, its architecture still stands, taken care of and appreciated. Its vintage and to me beautiful. Some see older places and cringe but I can see the history and its story. We walked in and it all came to me, I saw the crib with our son, walks down to the park, sitting on the front porch, our landlord is willing to work with us. Its just simply beautiful. I walk in and I just feel the feeling of home. I never have felt that in these modern styled apartments. I am so excited and so ready to start our lives together in this place. Best of both worlds for what Dallas and I were looking for.
